L'DONACA INTERIORS

Laura grew up in the 70's when fashion and color was rather challenging which contributed to her fascination for interior design. Her family was middle class living in a ranch-style home, shag carpet and early American furniture.  Clearly not the style of choice, their home was spotless clean and orderly.  Laura was determine to change things up a bit by creating smarter furniture arrangements, moving accessories around and reorganizing the closets and cabinets.  Almost drove her mother crazy with the constant re-painting of her bedroom and furniture rearranging. 

Although Laura's career did not begin in design it has been a life-long passion.  With the birth of the Hi-Tech industry and electronics Laura joined Intel Corporation in 1979.  Her ability to grasp technology, learn applications quickly and use both sides of her brain set the stage for evolutions to come.  After 20 years her passion for interior design grew stronger, putting her social life on hold Laura attended night school at Portland Community College to obtain her degree and L'Donaca Interiors began its journey.

Joined Northwest Society of Interior Designers (NWSID) in 1998 to gain a better understanding about the design industry, meet fellow designers and start building a network of her own.  Laura's passion for interior design, use of color and meeting new people is merely the principle, continuing education and strengthening her creativity is the foundation for future successful interior design endeavors.
