• Family Room
  Family of six in new West Hills home needed to add a personal touch.  Draperies from prior home were perfect color, but not in length so we added fabric to the bottom of the panels, made pillows to match and a custom roman shade for the kitchen window.

  Added walnut dining table and chairs, area rug, accessories, paint and custom dried floral center piece.

• Live Foliage
  Client traveled frequently and hesitated about having live plants, felt they would never live.  I reassured him that certain types of plants require little care so we gave this large palm a try.  He was so happy after a few months we have since added three large live plants throughout his home.

• Street of Dreams
  Designed the wet bar in the entertainment area of Williamson's home for Street of Dreams 2007.  Used cork flooring to reduce noise and provide comfort when standing behind the bar.

• Fireplace Upgrade
  After having the wood stove insert installed we ran into a minor snag with the inspection... the existing mantle was no longer within code for distance above the insert.  The client was set on keeping the brick and there was no way of finding matching brick due to the age.
• After some research my solution was to have a custom concrete mantle and hearth made and the end result was perfect the clients were amazed at how nicely this blended together and we passed inspection with flying colors.

• Basement Remodel
  Prior to this remodel the client used their basement as a dumping site for everything and with family and friends visiting more often it was necessary to create a more comfortable living space.  We reduced the size of the guest bathroom by removing wasted vanity space thus creating a larger family room area.  We added storage in the closet, new carpet, big screen TV and updated the guest bedroom and bath.

• Starry Night Mural
  Young couple was at a loss with options for the empty alcove area above the kitchen.  No matter what they had in the space it ended up a dust and cobweb collector.  Competing with the clear story windows around the rest of the condo my first thought was a mural and what more appropriate than Van Gogh's Starry Night.  The muralist had difficulty projecting the image due to the height of the wall and ended up folding an actual poster into quarters to hand draw and paint the entire scene.  At Christmas time we added a village scene with lights and the effects were stunning.  Clients loved the mural.

• Babies Theme Room
  New baby boy for this young couple and first grandchild for a close friend of mine.  They wanted the room bright and whimsical and with the blue and white accents yellow was a must for the walls.  I painted blue and green whimsical airplanes to match the print on the blankets.  We had one of the planes spelling out his name "Jackson".  Also painted the ceiling to look like clouds.  Theme rooms are such fun and endless possibilities.

• Bold Colors
  These pictures don't do the color justice, but we were looking for bright and bold to bring about the colors in the fabric and Spanish style furniture in the living room and dining room.  The painter just about had a fit when he first saw the color and asked more than once if we were sure it was the right color.  After the room was finished it looked amazing.  We pulled the colors into the kitchen with an area rug, small bistro table, chairs and a custom made stripped valance.
